Friday Island
We`re a four piece funk/rock band from deepest darkest Wiltshire (no inbreds in this band though im afraid - or at least we dont think so anyway.) Have been playing together for years although only recently aquired a singer - not too bright but she can sing so its all good, just dont ask her too many questions coz she's easily confused. The 3 original members are Slap Star Barry on bass, Fast Fingers Rob (the lover of all things cheese) on guitar, and the crazy arse bastard that is Blacky on the drums. So thats us!

Mark Matthews
After playing in various different bands and collectives for just over nine years, Mark Mathews decided to “go it alone” and become a solo artist at the start of 2006. He moved to the big smoke from Maidstone in Kent and is now based in Camden town, extensively gigging around the Kent and London area, building up a dedicated fan base and receiving praise from many industry professionals. Playing on the same bill as Babyshambles and reaching the finals of the SEB Collective “search for a recording star” have been a couple of high points of the past year for Mark. Audiences expecting your average mellow, acoustic guitar playing solo artist are often shocked at the level of energy that Marks songs have and just how anthemic they are. His tunes have been described as “Post Oasis and The Beatles with a folk edge”.

Sarah Williams White
songwriter + singer lyricist & pianist..ist... think i've been writing stuff since primary school really... started with poems about ducks &stuff, and started singing -if u can call it that- in a girl band of 10yr olds! But since then and over all my years, musicians and songwriters have given my ears so much beautiful joy...i can't help but let it become a part of my life. Soul, hip hop, jazz, RnB, funk, blues, rock, latin, african, DnB, Garage/grime, more or less everything and anything does it for me. i love to write. i love to sing. i love getting on my keys. i love messing round in production. and playing with my band.

Foolish Earthlings
Foolish Earthlings is a soul-funk-rock band from London. Its sound reflects the various musical backgrounds of its members in gospel, soul, blues, rock, metal, jazz and jazz-rock fusion - all applied to solid funk grooves. The new line-up sees the return of K on vocals, keyboards and rhythm guitar, and the arrival of drum prodigy Dave to the band. They join the established combination of Ryan on guitar and Syed on bass to round out the four-piece. The band's current focus is on recording its debut album, due out next year on the Euphon Records label.

Harley St Clinic
In the depths of Brixton, south London its loud and raw. Harley Street Clinic are playing another seminal gig in their backyard. The rowdy crowd invade the stage one more time.
Twelve months ago shamanic lead singer Felix completed the line up of Harley Street Clinic. Joined by wizard guitarist Matty, Fred on bass and Huggs, drums.
This teenage four piece are blowing all other bands away with their heady mix of dark grooves, anthemic choruses and lyrics that resonate with every girl and boy who knows their music.
Nights of debauchery, drunkenness and decadence are what the fans crave and Harley Street Clinic delivers every time.
This is the underground scene in south London, fuck Bethnal Green with the shoe gazers and likely lads. If you want the real thing, then get to a gig in Brixton and watch the return of the super group...

The Jayes
The band came together about a year ago at Exeter University.. we all lived in the same block (J) hence The Jayes! We are all currently sharing a house in Exeter.. but are are originally based in London/Reading/Portsmouth and Bournemouth. Have only played 5 gigs to date.. we rounded off our first year by Headlining our University halls summer ball. Have had a good response from Exeters live circuit, recently reviewed by a south west live music magazine (links on the website). We were lucky enough to film our first music video at Power FM.. (major station in Portsmouth and Southampton)... Influences include Libertines, The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Beatles, Oasis, Blur, The Smiths........etc etc. finding it all alot of fun and looking forward to the London dates!!!

"... the band's sound is so diverse, it's difficult to distinguish who their influences are. Certainly there is a strong electro pop overtone in a vein not dissimilar to Depeche Mode but there are also tracks with elements of Flaming Lips, The Smiths and Belle and Sebastian to name but a few. This really is an outstanding album full of witty lyrics and catchy riffs with every track able to hold its own. Look out for the rather special cover of Video Killed the Radio Star." (The Times*)
"Their peculiar brand of spiky, danceable popmusic recalls Henry Mancini, Talking Heads and the Kinks and is vigorously played on dirty guitars and battered old synths by 6 shopwindow dummies with identical hair. Live performances may include dancing." (Lewis Silkin)
